All property tax bills and payments are public information, and can be found at the San Francisco Recorder-Assessor’s website. These public records are updated frequently, including identifying if homeowners have paid their tax bill. Parcel monitors this on your behalf, and notifies you if you have not paid a bill before an upcoming due date.
In California, you are charged a 10% late fee on your installment if your payment is not received by the due date.
For every month after 6 months that the delinquent bill has not been paid, an additional fee of 1.5% is added.
